The Survey Tester's primary role is to take over the full responsibility for the testing of the programmed surveys related to the Online Market Research projects.
As a Survey Tester you will be part of the in-house Survey Testing Team. You will take over responsibility of the testing/ proofreading projects assigned to you. This includes managing and performing quality verification using the internal company tools.
Your main tasks will be to:
• Work closely with the programming department in order to make sure that the links provided are tested and checked before being launched;
• Test the survey’s links to make sure the information is logic, correct and the interface works properly;
• Take over the Survey proofing (General survey logic, Mistranslation, Missing Translation, Grammatical errors, Punctuation, Spelling, Quality improvement) for translation quality assurance of survey projects in your language(s);
• Follow up with internal and external resources;
• Able to refine and further develop current survey testing standards and policies;
• Define the details related to the test, like plan, time line, resource required and potential roadblock;
• Effectively communicate with Project and Sales Managers to ensure customer’s needs regarding proof-reading / scripting are met and understood;
• Escalate project or outstanding issues to the Team Leader as soon as identified;
• Update all internal tools on a daily basis in order to keep track of the project status;
• Be flexible and proactive in providing the best solutions for the client.

Your abilities need to be:
• Advanced level of English and German language (with a focus on the written skills);
• University graduate, preferably with focus on languages;
• Software testing or translations experience will be a plus;
• Proficient with MS-Office (Microsoft Word and Excel);
• Time management and priorities management skills;
• Good organizational skills and the ability for multitasking;
• Market research experience would be a great advantage.
