Care Assistants for the UNITED KINGDOM
1. WHO ARE THE EMPLOYERS?
• Our collaborators are numerous care homes, located all over the United Kingdom, including Devon, East Sussex, West Sussex, Guilford, Kent, Sutton, Southampton, Oxford, Greater London, Bristol, New Milton.
• They have an excellent reputation with the residents and their families, with Local Authorities and the Care Quality Commission.
• They are fully accredited; and continually monitor their service and train their staff to ensure that the high standards are maintained.
2. WHAT ARE THE JOB REQUIRMENTS?
• Sociable, communicative and dynamic person, who enjoys interacting with elderly or disabled people Medium level of English, conversational (B1)
• Experience in the field is not mandatory, but practical experience in working with the elderly or disabled would be an advantage (Physiotherapist, Social assistant, Carer/ Teacher in Care Homes, Teacher for Disabled)
• Desire and enthusiasm for a care assistant career in the United Kingdom
3. WHAT IS THE JOB DESCRIPTION OF A CARE ASSISTANT?
- To assist the service users in personal care including washing, bathing, dressing and any toilet needs.
- To assist in the cleaning of the home as the need arises, particularly the dining area after meals and to support infection control e.g. by cleaning up spills etc immediately
- To report any accidents or unexplained injuries immediately to the nurse in charge
- To pay due respect to service users possessions and to ensure that bedrooms and communal areas are tidy and presentable at all times.
- To assist service users to eat and drink when necessary, monitoring intake and reporting any concerns to the Nurse in Charge.
- To participate in social activities with service users and to use all interactions with residents as an opportunity for their stimulation/occupation
4. WHAT IS THE SALARY?
• Gross Salary: £7.50 - £9.00/ hour • Net monthly salary calculated at:

44 £1,236 - 1,431
50 £1,369 - 1,590
5. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
1. Full time contract with minimum 37,5 hours/week and lots of overtime potential

4. Gross salary ranges from £7.5 to £9

5. HOW MUCH MONEY WILL YOU NEED?
Initial money required (in £ British Pounds) is:
- One way plane ticket: £100 (approximately) – depending on when you book your flight
- We recommend first month’s spending money before obtaining the first salary: £300
