- maintain calibrations system as per QMS requirement
- ensure the capability of all measuring and testing equipment within the plant
- ensure the regular calibration of Testing Equipment as per VA3021
- ensure that all Measuring and Testing Equipment families have a valid and acceptable MSA Studies
- establishing, moderating and controlling the Site measuring equipment database
- selection and assessment of calibration service providers
- create/update work instructions, acceptance reports, routine reports and correspondence
- approve tha calibration results
- coordinate with contracted calibration laboratories to perform the calibration
- provide assistance to other functions when required according to repsonsibilities
- management of documentation regarding calibration system
-participation in audits
- bachelor's degree
- experience in automotive industry is an advantage

In 2002 has started in Bistrita the building of the second Leoni unit in Romania, producing wiring systems for Daimler Chrysler and BMW.
