Production administrator / planner
Department- Production
Job Purpose :
To plan in new production orders, prepare the production files, establish planning for material requirements and production teams and update progress on a daily basis. This in view of optimizing available resources to ensure maximum customer satisfaction within the framework of the production and quality systems in place.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Performance areas
1. Responsible for the master planning in of new orders and the setting of realistic commissioning dates.
2. Responsible for the preparation of all production related administration concerning an order such as preparing the master file, issuing work instructions, daily reports….
3. Responsible for the planning of the production stages and steps and the material requirements per production stage.
4. Responsible for the processing of the progress reports and to update the planning accordingly.
5. Responsible for proactive reporting of planning updates to production manager, reports capacity needs and proposes possibilities to solve occurring delays.
6. Responsible for manpower planning including leaves, holidays and solutions for sick leaves.
7. Responsible for keeping the sales department updated on the progress in production.
8. Responsible for communication material requirements to procurement department.
9. Responsible for effecting company values: making sure that company values are known and respected.
10. Understands the importance of and fully cooperates in continuous improvements efforts.

Knowledge of planning production and production administration in a small production environment implementing flexible manufacturing principles
Job-related (Technical – Knowledge & Skills):
Education :
• Technical or administrative bachelor degree
• Willing to develop into a technical administrative position
Experience:
• First experience in working as planner / production administrator in a production environment.
• At least 5years experience in production or related position.
Technical:
• Good knowledge of developing and working with spreadsheets.
• Good general computer skills.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems, planning system is a plus.
Language:
• Good knowledge of English (Speaking, Reading& Understanding)
