These are challenging positions in the Software Development Department. The department delivers integrated software solutions to external clients. The software solutions are based on Microsoft technologies.
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
Works with other members of the development team to design, develop, unit test, support, and maintain software, web applications and ETL processes using a variety of technologies with focus on .NET

• Completed a 4-year degree in Computer Science or related field, or student in his/her last year.
• Experience with development of software projects.
• Understanding of the software development process including analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, problem resolution and planning.
• Practices proper source code control, development procedures, and coding best practices.
• Demonstrates ability to work in a development team.
• Knows object oriented development; learns design patterns and identifies opportunities for their use.
• Capable of handling simultaneous development tasks related to multiple projects.
The ideal candidate should provide technical competency and demonstrating success utilizing any of the technologies or frameworks listed below. Experience is preferred but exceptions will be made based upon willingness and competency to learn and adapt to new technology:
• Development Environments: Microsoft Visual Studio 2008/2010.
• Object oriented development : C# 3.5; 4.0
• Web Frameworks: ASP.NET web development (4.0 and MVC3 is a major plus)
• Web: HTML/HTML5, JavaScript/jQuery, CSS/CSS3, Ajax
• Database: Microsoft SQL Server 2005+
• ORM Tools: NHibernate
• Unit Testing: NUnit
• Web Services: WCF
