Main responsibilities:
• Answer the phone, or chat to customers and deal with managing new requests for technical support;
• Keep abreast of new developments in software and hardware;
• Be able to work on own initiative;
• Provide advice or customer training when necessary.


CERINTE

Our ideal candidate meets the following requirements:

- Fluency in French and English is a must;
- 3 years experience in resolving technical issues with PC's/servers;
- Very good knowledge of Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2000 & 2007;
- Very good knowledge of Windows networking technologies ;
- Very good knowledge of PC/server hardware (including webcam, printers, scanners…etc);
- Very good understanding of Windows Office applications;
- Good understanding of HTML and web based technologies. Experience in using Apple computers desirable;
- High quality customer facing inter-personal skills.
- TCP/IP networking.

As a support technician, you will be required to provide support for a wide range of technical issues relating to the home and small business markets. This position involves performing troubleshooting of issues relating to hardware, operating systems and applications and providing an appropriate level of advice on technical issues to a non technical audience. You will be required to manage customer requests from receiving the initial call through to resolving the issue. The troubleshooting will be done in remote.
