As a C++ Senior Software Engineer you will be part of the iQuest Team, which delivers value-added software services to customers. You will join an experienced team and will have the opportunity to design and develop technical solutions for projects with high quality expectations and challenging performance requirements to customers around the world.
What will your responsibilities look like?
Plan, process and perform all tasks in an efficient manner with no assistance from the supervisor
Design and coordinate the development of software solution components
Work closely with the project management team
Review and improve legacy code
Constantly develop and learn new C++ based technologies
Define and rigorously follow processes related to coding, documentation, configuration and change management
Collaborate with other members of the team
What abilities will you need?
Must have:
Advanced technical skills
Advanced C++ knowledge
Advanced knowledge of the Object-Oriented Programming paradigm
Very good communication skills, with an emphasis on verbal and written communication
Ability to teach or instruct co-workers
Nice to have:
Experience with C/C++ development on Linux / Unix
Embedded development experience
Capable of writing technical proposals and documentation
Able to make presentations to customers, clients or professional peers
Ability to “think outside the box”
