The IT Operations Department is the one that ensures the maintenance and development of the infrastructure for internal and external clients (servers, networks, databases, server services) for current operations.
In this context, within the team you will participate in the installing, testing, maintenance, monitoring, tuning, backup and debugging for: servers, storage systems, server services, Nagios monitoring system and VMware vSphere.
Having obtained a university degree in computer science (Computer Science, Automatic Control or others in the IT field), you have already accumulated a good experience with the following technologies: IBM System x, HP Proliant, Dell PowerEdge, Blade servers, DAS, NAS, SAN storage systems and as well as Linux (RHEL, SLES), VMware vSphere and Windows Server. The knowledge of distributed systems, clusters, TCP/IP is necessary. You also have Linux programming skills, but also of Nagios and other monitoring tools, general knowledge of Office suite and good scripting abilities (Bash, Perl and/or PHP).
Having acquired one of the following certifications: Red Hat Certified Engineer, Novell Certified Linux Engineer, VMware Certified Professional, Novell Certified Linux Administrator, Red Hat Certified System Administrator is a plus.
