We are recruiting for our client, a multinational company.
• Ensures that all transactions are accounted for in accordance with local regulations;
• Accounts payable, tax returns, accounts reconciliation
• Registration of operations regarding company creditors and debtors, banking operations and other current operations;
• Produces the tax declarations and other reports required by tax, banking or statistical authorities;
• Follows changes in accounting / tax legislation and implements the ones relevant for the company;
• Provides support for the yearly external financial audit;
• Ensures timely computation of all taxes (tax on profit, VAT, withholding tax, etc);
• Monitors compliance with company procedures.
• University Degree – Bachelor in Economic Studies
• Experience in working on tax-related matters and in working with financial authorities, at least 3 years experience in a financial field, very good knowledge of Romanian accounting and tax issues
• Previous working experience with SAP would be an advantage;
• Fluency in verbal and written English, German is a plus;
• Proficiency in MS Office tools;
• Competences: analytical thinking, proactive attitude, correctness, commitment to deadlines, team spirit (inter-departmental cooperation), stress resistance, adaptability.
