Administrative Assistant
Duties & Responsibilities
Development
Supporting the Executive Director by:
• Maintaining the donor database using Microsoft Excel
• Processing donor acknowledgements
• Creating and updating development procedures
• Researching possible donors
• Providing support as needed for communications effort, annual campaigns, and events


CERINTE

Office Administration
Coordinates overall administrative activities including, but not limited to:
• Answering telephone and disseminating mail
• Negotiate the purchase of office supplies, equipment etc. in accordance with company purchasing policies and budgetary restrictions
• Management of the offices day-to- day operations
• Providing support with communication, ranging from the website and Newsletters.
• Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Minimum Bachelors degree
• At least two years of experience
• English fluency (Spanish/Portuguese/French desirable)
• Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Experience with Adobe Programs (Photoshop, InDesign) preferable
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments
• Desire to take initiative on projects
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
