Job description:
JATO Dynamics Ltd is interested in strengthening its Romanian research team with an Automotive Specialist, based in the Bucharest area. This role requires strong self-motivation with an analytical approach to data collection and entry. The role will involve collecting prices, specifications, options, volumes and incentives for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles and inputting the data into JATO's databases.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
* To collect accurate, regular and relevant data on prices, specifications, options, volumes and incentives for automobiles and light commercial vehicles.
* To work in accordance with JATO’s requirements to sustain high levels of data completeness, accuracy and timeliness, maintaining up-to-date and complete databases.
* To have effective networking and influencing skills to elicit additional, relevant information and ensure a steady flow of data which is of the highest quality.
* To prepare articles in English/Romanian for the Company’s International Electronic News Service (JATO News).
* To visit show rooms and manufacturers to perform physical vehicle checks.
* To follow local and International automotive market events.
Requirements:
The jobholder should have very good command of Romanian and English languages. Excellent computer skills are mandatory, as much of the work will entail working with spreadsheets and data manipulation. Working experience in the automotive sector and good knowledge of vehicle technology would be a plus. Knowledge of the Romanian car market is an asset.
The candidate should be based in the Bucharest area and willing to operate on a self-employed basis from a home-office, having a suitable home working area available.
Travel within Romania and occasionally to the Head Office in the UK will be required.
