We are looking for highly motivated individuals with pleasant personalities and good organizational skills to work as a backend PHP Developer. At least 2 years working experience with PHP technology and Web-based business applications is a must.
We're growing Avira's next generation of safe web experiences.You will take part in building an application that will service millions of users.
As a developer you will be working on a variety of web applications and APIs, maintaining existing PHP code, optimizing MySQL queries and developing custom PHP solutions
If you have an interest in working with the newest platforms and writing briliant code, we want to talk to you.
- 2+ years experience in web application development with PHP and MySQL;
- good knowledge of Object Oeriented programming
- experience with PHP frameworks like YII Framework , Zend, CakePHP;
- BS in Computer Science or a related field of study;
- fast learner; be able to understand the full application and not only the modules where is actively involved;
- felling comfortable to work in a complex, long term project;
- up to date with the newwst technologies;
- understand web application scalability and performance.
Nice to have:
- lnowledge of key-value in-memory database like: memcached, redis or other NoSQL databases ( mongodb, couchdb);
- Experience with JSON, REST and APIs.
