Reports to: General Manager
Cooperates closely with the National Sales Manager
Main Responsibilities:
Develop and support the vision and strategy for our DIAMOND brand, including consumer focus, brand architecture and communication strategies (develop annual plans, budgets, media), as well as concept, product, packaging;
Manage and participate in the full lifecycle of product development across multiple product lines including conception, definition, development, launch and post launch activities;
Apply overall product management/product marketing principals to understand target markets, solution gaps, pricing and positioning strategies, value propositions and unmet needs, identify and recommend product enhancement and development opportunities;
Drive commercial success for assigned product family through innovative product definition, competitive positioning, pricing and promotional activities and by working closely with other departments including Development, Operations and Sales;
Analyze the market to understand category trends and competitive development;
Drive consumer insight development (local research);
Develop and implement marketing and promotion campaigns (work closely with advertising and PR agencies/companies);
Identify new business opportunities within the category /portfolio to fully exploit the market potential;
Manage and expand the current retail shops network (including looking for new shop locations, negotiate rent contracts with owners and layout & product portfolio).
Candidate will possess good written/verbal communication, judgment/decision-making, problem resolution/follow-through skills, critical thinking and a strong working knowledge of Brand & Product Management/Product Marketing Processes, good planning, budget and analytical skills and ability to provide actionable recommendations;
At least two years of experience in brand & product management/product marketing, business development, marketing, project management or market research and dealing with Advertising & PR companies/agencies;
Experience and success in leading collaborative, cross-functional teams and presenting campaigns and initiatives to a broad range of internal and external partners;
Ability to manage self and prioritize projects;
Highly entrepreneurial and pro-active and passionate about accountability & goal achievement;
Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or marketing is required;
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point) is required.
