Job Summary
Preparation and integrity of financial reporting for specific legal entities within the country for local and US GAAP standards
Assists the Finance Manager in the design and implementation of controlling tools and reports
Analyzes the variance and evolution of performance and financial actual indicators compared to the budget / previous periods and forecast – focus on Gross Margin and operating expenses
Checks proper allocation of income / expenses on cost centers
Participates in the preparation of the monthly / quarterly / annual group financial (US GAAP) and management reporting to external management
Performs inter-company reconciliations
Participates in the budgeting and forecasting process of the group
Prepares weekly collection report
Works closely with branches for financial support in their day-to-day activity
Performs regular checks for compliance with group policies
Key Responsibilities
Support & decision maker for issues arising requiring medium level analysis and knowledge
Check accuracy of cost center allocations and instruct corrections in the accounting / payroll / invoicing as needed
Maintain updated Gross Margin per client file (input from branches)
Calculate Gross Margin per client, investigate variations vs contract / prior month / average etc (detail calculation checks, reconciliations and discussions with client responsible). Instruct corrections needed in accounting / payroll.
Accruals & adjustments - recommend following Gross Margin control
Pricing control and price building for current services
Operational procedures audit within branches
Prepare different reports requested by the management
Preferable degree in Accounting or Finance
Work Experience: 4+ years in financial/management accounting experience
Knowledge of US GAAP
Understanding of key business process and business environment
Possess broad knowledge of internal control systems, internal organizational structures, financial analysis of corporate performance
Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate financial concepts
English proficiency
Navision working skills - represent an advantage
