For our client, a worldwide procurement and services company, we are looking for a Buyer with German. The main responsabilities are:
- Develop new items with running and new suppliers which could be offered to the accounts/clients in charge for future developments
- Develop turnover at the running clients in charge
- Establish together with merchandise manager strategy and policy for running suppliers and clients, and plans for new developments, according KPI’S and potential.
- Mapping new suppliers
- Travel to the suppliers and external to the clients in charge for
- Develop new client accounts from the group and not only.
- Orders and samples follow up, and up-dated status every week to Merchandise Manager. When necessary send reminders to suppliers for late deliveries, and inform clients accordingly;
- Claims follow up - use existing data base, translation of claims;
- Communication with clients and suppliers;
- Organise business trips (hotel bookings, airplane tickets, bus booking) in coordination with Merchandise Manager;
- Offer requests follow up;
- Data base offers – datas introduction;
- Office catalogue assortment for furniture for each season;
- Samples catalogue for furniture for each season;
- Wood/color-samples - order to suppliers and follow up;
- Translate various documention, when necessary;
- Communicate all problems from running business, to Merchandise Manager;
- Work in an organised and structured manner so that office time to be used in most efficient way;
- Act fast and follow up till things are done;
- Act as „cost conscious“ person, by planing in most efficient way travels to suppliers or clients;
- Inform every Friday/Monday line manager about business status for suppliers in charge for;
- Participate in discussions regarding KPI figures;
- Keep organised files/computer for each account/ supplier;
- Keep an open points list for daily follow up;
