Key contributor to the future channel strategy – direct or indirect lines of distribution (affiliate network, reseller partners, online retailers, etc)
Identify, negotiate and close new reseller and affiliate partnerships. Follow up on new partnerships to ensure that they are activated and producing results.
Work with both major affiliates and merchants to create marketing and affiliate opportunities
Plan and monitor the communication with affiliates / partners
Identify affiliate and reseller platform needs and work with product management team to define the requirements
Work with Affiliates to grow revenue by developing and managing targeted and mass affiliate acquisition, activation and strategic merchandising initiatives.
Analyze performance of revenue driving initiatives and translate it into actionable growth opportunities.
Create and constantly update targeted Affiliate, reseller partner’s prospect lists for key verticals.
Manage Avangate strategies for acquiring more affiliates into the Network. Develop, maintain, and extend relationships with affiliates both in and not yet in the Avangate Affiliate Network. Serve as main point of contact for largest affiliates and reseller partners
Performs client-specific needs analysis and competitive research.
Develop, review and report on the business development division’s strategy associated with distribution channels
Identifies and follows new opportunities by analyzing business needs and conducting market intelligence activities.
Candidate will have a minimum of 5 year experience in online business/eCommerce, direct marketing; experience in working with resellers / affiliate marketing and business development skills a plus.
Bachelors degree required, advanced degrees a plus.
Ability to extract the big picture through data modeling and analysis and formulate robust viewpoints
Exemplary written and oral communication skills, plus strong presentation skills.
Strong analytical and strategic marketing skills.
Planning and project management skills. Prioritizing and strategizing based on corporate goals.
Problem solving, thinking creatively and using professional judgment.
Demonstrated success in measuring results and setting, meeting, and exceeding quantitative goals.
Must be able to quickly develop facility with proprietary software to manage campaigns and report results. Solid proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint for client-ready reports and presentations.
HTMLknowledge a plus.
