Performing housekeeping tasks on the virtual desktop infrastructure;
Proactive & reactive monitoring of the virtual desktop infrastructure;
Correlating incoming calls with different available information: monitoring alerts, planned maintenances, other information;
Solving new customer requests according to agreed time frame and documentation;
Acting as second level support, SPOC for Local IM / IT departments (analyzing and solving problems within the area of competence) for all VDI related problems, providing feedback (estimated solution time etc.);
Tracking solution progress;
Forwarding HPSM incident to specialized CV teams (if unable to fix the issue);
Performing statistics and analysis of system performance and system load;
Performing basic error analysis and resolution;
Creating and managing service tickets.
Degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification;
Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and applications;
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products and AD Domain Services;
Basic knowledge of virtualization technology (Citrix, VMware);
Microsoft certifications represent an advantage;
Proactive, goal oriented, problem solving skills;
Good communication skills, ability to work with teams from different locations;
Willingness to collaborate in international teams;
Ability to set aside (ego and) personal priorities to generate customer oriented results;
Good command of English.
