Job Responsibilities:
• Lead a project stream(s) of a complex data center infrastructure transformation projects focused on consolidating and optimizing server and storage architecture of our clients.
• Lead and coordinate activities related to design and implementation of x86 platform, UNIX platform, SAN and storage solutions.
• Be in daily contact with client’s infrastructure managers and architects and you will report directly to program/project management.
• Actively contribute to development of DC infrastructure/cloud capability with Accenture Infrastructure Services and participate on sales activities.
Our clients are major banks, insurance companies, telco operators and utility companies consolidating their data center infrastructure and operations on regional and global level.
• Technical University degree
• >5 years of work experience
• Experience with (at least 2 out of following):
- x86 HW & virtualization technologies (preferably VMware)
- Windows or Linux administration
- IBM powerSystems and/or AIX administration
- SAN and/or storage virtualization
• Experiences with sales activities
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Team-leading and leadership potential
• Very good communications skills
• Fluency in English
• Willingness to travel
