1.Deployement and maintenance of complex database, improuving integrity and system performance;
2 Monitor database resources regularly and perform ongoing systems and databases problems trobleshooting, back-up and recovery;
3. Monitor the databases functionality and assure their 24/7 availability
4. Train support and offer technical advice and consultancy to users
5. Bring to ussers attention all software changes and updates;
6. Ensure optimal use of systems and databases to achieve maximum business benefit;
7. Ensure reliable IT services; quickly inform and collaborate with the direct-line manager in order to resolve unexpected technical matters/problems;
You will demonstrate an outstanding ability to deliver results through both your own proffesional skill and commitment, and your capacity to provide innovative solutions for business processes. Your excellent databases/applications management capability will be combined with good organisational and team-orientation skills.
- Senior level Microsoft SQL Server database administration and applications management in a large and complex organisation;
- Work experience with Windows 2000/2003 servers, understanding of large IT applications and infrastructure
- Demonstrated willingness and ability to work in a fast-mouving, dynamic, team-oriented environement;
- Excellent pro-active problem solving skills;
- Able to prioritize tasks and adapt to change;
