Support in achievement of business objectives:
• Coordinate the acquisition plan fill-in by staff, alignment with sales plan and perform structure changes, if necessary, on a weekly basis
• Monitor purchase orders levels and statuses and recommend staff areas for improvement on a weekly basis
• Monitor the inventory quality / structure, including slow movers, and recommend staff areas for improvement on a weekly basis
• Provide purchasing information for cash flow forecasting purposes on a weekly basis
• Provide purchasing information for planning of inbound logistics
• Review supplier offers / price lists and purchase price variations and report commercial management team significant variations on a regular basis
• Review planned purchased against plan and recommend managers areas for improvement on a monthly basis

Support for commercial team:
• Provide advice on purchasing, acquisition prices and inventories matters to managers and staff.
• Direct project involvement:
• Coordinate Commercial effort in major campaigns (eg. deals, inbound logistics, offers)
• Participate in the review of design specifications and workflows (purchase orders, client orders, purchasing view, acquisition plan, etc.)
• Identify and report on any potential improvements to applications and processes.
• At least 5 years in a similar role, or in management consulting
• Exposure to multiple types of markets (eg. IT, Mobile, Appliances, Auto Parts, DIY, Home & Deco) and understanding of their business models is an advantage
• Knowledge of quantitative methods of demand forecasting and inventory management is an advantage.
