The Digital Manager will oversees ING’s digital initiatives including web/internet, social media, e acquisition, mobile and tablet initiatives.He/she will be embedded into our client’s marketing team reporting to Marketing ands Communication Director for Retail and will develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that will integrate into our client’s marketing mix. S/he must have experience managing a broad spectrum of digital programs, including (but not limited to) large-scale website development, content creation, pay-per-click, search engine optimization, social media, digital advertising, CRM/email marketing and blogging. This position will serve as the strategic architect in regards to all digital initiatives. She/he will play a key role in optimizing the customer experience, driving revenue and optimizing internal processes while supporting overall business objectives.
General:
•Manages daily aspects of all digital initiatives, relying on both internal and external resources ;
•Leads creative, content, IT and other teams to deliver effective and scalable platforms;
•Optimizes business processes through customer-focused digital solutions;
•Identifies and develops key strategic alliances both internally and externally;
•Champions and oversees the implementation of a world-class customer experience
•Guides cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into business, functional and technical specifications;
•Management and development of direct reports;
•Adds unique insights to business and customer objectives, helping clients to maximize customer engagement and loyalty;
•Increase visibility, traffic membership across all digital platforms and drive awareness, engagement and loyalty among ING’s target market;
•Educate the executives on the fluid nature of the digital advertising and marketing space and ensure that our solutions are on the innovation-edge;
•Work with the metrics and analytics to map appropriate analytics to prove out the ROI of the campaign, strategy and/or campaigns;
•Stay current on users, interactive trends, best practices and digital experiences;
•Experience integrating automated marketing platform with internal systems (i.e. web applications or other databases) ;
•Google Analytics, or other analytics experience required ;
•A solid understanding of the social media space including all top social media outlets and the application ecosystem which surrounds them ;
•A basic understanding of web technologies;
•Experience developing lead nurturing, event registration and complex marketing programs, which utilize lead scoring ;
•Good analytical abilities and ability to apply findings to projects;
•Effective negotiation and conflict management skills ;
•Excellent written and verbal skills ;
•Excellent team player;
•Previously demonstrated experience with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Operations and IT;
•Demonstrated success in the management and execution of complex digital projects.
