Our client, one of Europe’s biggest banks, is extending its world-wide expertise by building up global services in information and communication technology, back-office operations, real estate, security and procurement.
The new IT Division is created from the integration and consolidation of 16 Group companies who will act as a new business model, unique in the European banking sector, focused on Business needs (i.e. Commercial Banking, Global Markets, CEE), not only on providing services.
In Romania, the client will play an active role in Iasi and Bucharest markets. The set of new initiatives, aiming to provide services to the Group, are in the area of Internet Banking Solution and Commercial Banking Front-end.
Other focused areas are related to Internet Banking Solution, such as Internet Banking Platform for the CEE Region, SW Maintenance & Evolution and Functional and Technical Competences; also Commercial Banking Front-end area, such as Core Banking Front end components for Mature Market Region, SW Evolution, Technical competences.
In this context, and as partner of our client, we are actively targeting best IT professionals for the development of IT Competency Hubs in Bucharest and Iasi.
DWH and BI Specialist (Mainframe & Open
technologies), Bucharest based
Key responsibilities:
o Development of ETL programs with an enterprise-grade tool (Datastage)
o DataWarehouse ETL development lifecycle, including developing and testing ETL programs
o Hands-on database development with SQL and stored procedures, such PL/SQL or similar ones
o Development of data transformations involving SQL, data-type conversions, joins filters, translations, aggregation, de-/normalization, custom Java classes, and custom database stored procedures
Qualification and competencies:
o University degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline
o Experience in data modeling and data warehousing architecture and design
o Experience in DataStage Enterprise Edition with Teradata or Oracle database Ability to work independently to sort-out ambiguous technical specifications if necessary
o Excellent knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL programming language and experience with creating queries in Teradata or DB2 or SQL Server
o Fluency in English
