• Understands software requirements specifications from user perspective
• Creates and maintains test scenarios according to software requirements specifications
• Defines and maintains test plans, test specifications and reports
• Executes test campaign and reports the results to the involved stakeholders
• Makes everything possible to achieve the committed quality targets
• Reports testing progress regularly
Requested technical competence:
• Electronic skills (read and understand schematics, soldering components)
• Basic Java/XML knowledge
• Basic C knowledge
• Basic Linux knowledge
• Ability to communicate and report status and results
Knowledge of the following is a plus:
• Experience with safety-critical or real-time embedded systems testing
• Knowledge of a scripting language e.g. Perl, Bash or Python
• Know-how in CAD design of electronic boards
• DDTS/Clear Quest experience
• Knowledge of DOORS
• Knowledge of ClearCase or SVN
Languages:
• English (very good reading and writing - for daily communication)
• German is a plus
