- converting written or spoken information from a source to a target language;
- using Translation Memory software (Trados);
- proofreading and editing final translated versions;
- retaining and developing specialist knowledge on specialist areas of translation;
- prioritising work to meet deadlines.
Bachelor’s Degree in English & other second foreign language and/or an internationally acknowledged language certificate;
- Translator and Interpreter Authorization issued by the Ministry of Justice;
- excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English & German;
- capacity to prioritize work to meet deadlines;
- excellent translation, editing, proofreading and revision skills;
- extensive practical experience in the translation environment;
- ability to handle several projects at a time;
- good knowledge of CAT tools (Trados) and Microsoft Office;
- good interpersonal and communication skills;
- availability for long-term collaboration.
