- Guarantees quality and consistency of the reporting;
- Contributes to the reliability of the accountancy information;
- Verifies that the terms for issuance of the accountancy documents and payment procedures are respected;
- Respects both internal and external accountancy procedures;
- Performs the audit recommendations in respect of deadlines;
- Is responsible for Budget preparation and follow up;
- Is responsible for the group financial reporting management preparation;
- Is responsible for the sales reporting management preparation and follow up externally by distribution channel and internally by sales animator; the sales reporting will cover production in terms of premium, contracts and commission granted to the sales network;
- Performs analysis and gives advices on the evolution, tendencies observed and expected concerning the activities of the company as well as on margin, profitability indicators and general accounts;
- Performs accounting notes concerning technical accounts;
- Verifies reconciliation and certification of technical accounts with Actuary and Operation departments;
- Performs the monthly and annual accounts reconciliation;
- Provides financial analysis and valuations for investment opportunities;
- Participates and prepares the requested data for Solvency II project;
- Performs and monitors cash flow reports;
- Interacts with third parties (banks, suppliers, customers) regarding financial matters;
-Completes all assigned tasks and treats the information with confidentiality without disclosing it to third parties without prior consent from the General Manager and the Finance and Accounting Manager;
- Performs procurement process control, terms of payment and payments made to the suppliers and cash in advance;
- Provides accounting support in the area of financial analysis, general ledger reconciliation, fixed assets accounting and application of accounting principles to analyze financial information.
- Economic Studies, ideally with additional post-graduation degree in: Finance, Insurance, Banking or Stock Exchange;
- No less than 3 years experience in audit with an International Financial Audit company, preferably with experience in insurance or banking field;
- Graduation of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) would be an advantage;
- Solid finance knowledge of: treasury, reporting, budgeting and control;
- Excellent IT skills in standard software – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point); skills of using financial reporting tools would be an advantage;
- Fluency in spoken and written English, French would be an advantage.
