This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established international company in pharmaceutical area, on a position of
FIRST LINE SALES MANAGER - VIROLOGY
with main accountabilities:
Optimizing business performance by effectively driving the sales force team (establishing developmental plans, identifying training needs and providing on-going feedback and coaching, encouraging and inspiring sales team to meet sales and growth objectives);
Taking responsibility for annual sales budget for the country, setting the imperatives for the sales force and working against them, implementation of the key strategies and the key tactics);
Developing and maintaining strong internal and external relationships, especially with key opinion leaders to strengthen the company's competitive position and performance on the market, analyzing changing customer needs and market trends;
Building and maintaining a strong partnership with Sales Force Effectiveness Manager to ensure the implementation of appropriate programs and development of a systematic approach to
monitor, measure and track performance (including digital detailing and remote e-detailing usage);
Working with educational meetings to doctors and encourages sales force to do so, to enhance the company scientific image and product usage;
Interfacing with marketing, medical, market access and other key functions to ensure that plans meet expectations, while reporting to Business Unit Manager Virology.
The desired experience that would make you a total fit for this job includes:
Previous experience in people management and leading large field force teams is a must;
Proven ability in working directly with customers including negotiation activities and strong selling skills;
Experience in selling and/or marketing of ethical and consumer products/services;
Experience of developing and implementing a commercial plan, e.g. territory plan, business plan;
Strong communication skills, able to speak to lots of different audiences in various formats;
Prior exposure and in-depth knowledge of local pharmaceutical market, health care environment and competitive forces (experience in specialty care would be an added value);
Knowledge of relevant codes of practice (ARPIM, ANMDM), and awareness of impact of government policy in NHS and the impact on the selling environment;
English fluency, strong PC skills.
