For one of our clients, world leader in food industry, Adecco Permanent Placement is looking for a Fixed Assets Business Partner.
• Partner with peers in European Supply Chain, being subject matter expert for all capital related queries
• Manage relations cross functionally to ensure compliance in capital planning, providing guidance and expertise in decision-making
• Manage capital business project initiatives from a financial and operational perspective
• Provide strategic advice and insights for capital project planning
• Ensure fixed asset structure is Roupee compliant and processes and controls comply with S404 requirements
• Provide governance and insights to support all business decisions relating to capital and to ensure the company's fixed asset portfolio is managed in compliance with Corporate Accounting policy.
• Provide stakeholders in the European business with visibility of fixed asset portfolio
• Oversee fixed asset count schedule
• Subject matter expert to business units as needed during the Budgeting and Planning process
Customers and Operations
• Interact with the KEU RTR Team in resolving issues with Fixed Assets and General Ledger that pertain to the business
• Provide guidance and direction to the business for adherence to process compliance, ensuring resolution
• Be business partner to the European Engineering team ensuring that Capital initiatives are completed and are within the confines of Global Accounting Policies and mitigated by strong internal controls
Capability-Building and Innovation
• Be an RTR contact lead and resource for the European business to support the implementation of major projects
• Drive strategic change to the operational level
• Contribute to the overall learning of the RTR Team through sharing of best work practices and conducting end-user trainings during transition
• Cross-train on RTR processes to provide backup for the RTR team at month end close
Required:
•Educated to degree level
•Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent)
•Deep experience of Fixed Assets and Capital Planning
•Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership capabilities; must be able to interact with all levels of management and staff to solve problems and drive solutions cross functionally
•Key influencer of change, solution focused
•Ability to influence the organization to deliver effective and efficient solutions to issues and best practices
•Deep Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access
•Proficient in SAP
Preferred:
•Expertise in Record to Report function including best practices, technologies, processes, procedures and tools
•Ability to troubleshoot and quickly identify and implement solutions in relation to Record to Report issues
•Experience working in a shared services, process driven or delivery center environment
•Experience in Six Sigma or LEAN
•Experience working for a multinational organization and working with colleagues internationally
•Processed and Packaged foods industry experience
•Knowledge of S404
•Knowledge of US GAAP
