Business Partnering for a given European vertical (size of $50 MM)
Support business leader with meaningful analytics and insight to deliver financial targets
Deliver recurring reporting requirements defined by SLA
Preparation and participation in business deep dives, vertical meeting
Understand business leaders’ goals and integrate to vertical team
Deck preparation with outlook for COO Monthly Operating Review
Profitability analysis, financial modeling, what if scenarios
Finance SPOC for all matters to operations
Execute financial control (approve Purchase Orders, travel requests, SOWs)
Drive financial awareness within vertical, educate organization by regular training sessions
Negotiate and manage other ad-hoc or extra business requests in line with regular activities
Cooperate with financial inputs to contract re-negotiations and new deals
End-to-end financial reporting, analysis
Monthly CM III & AOI P&L reporting at customer level
HC reporting and metrics
Detailed variance analysis – versus plan, forecast, previous period
Provide and present executive summary to all stakeholders with revenue and AOI walk
Own main financial metrics (revenue, CM III, AOI)
Execute OH allocation and calculate fully loaded AOI at customer level
Regular monthly forecasting
Gather and validate inputs from business
Calculate run rates, apply extrapolation and count for one-timers
Feed forecasting model with data by agreed timeline
Monitor risk and opportunities, track pipeline
Corporate reporting and financial closing
Monthly revenue forecasting, deletion tracking
Regular open SOW reporting
Prepare and analyze data for monthly pre-close call, check the ledgers and have any potential mistake corrected by Accounting Team.
Participate in monthly financial closing process and close call with Corporate
Support ad-hoc global requests related to the vertical as and when it is required
Revenue cycle management
Follow up on open SOW closure
Approve monthly billing and accruals in GBS based on valid customer contracts
Work closely with AR team to ensure proper revenue recognition
Calculate and provide accruals for month-end close
Transition billing
Participate in SOX Audits, own RFCs and provide evidence
Calculate COLA, inflation adjustment and other pricing related impacts, service credits, financial liabilities etc
Calculate revenue deferrals
Annual Operating Plan (Sept-Jan)
Full planning of vertical P&L and headcount – at customer, product, country, currency etc level
Review and challenge the targets with business, build-in stretches
Ensure timely submission in TM1 as per project plan
Recalculate targets in case of FX change
Lead /participate in Finance transformation projects, customer- and site set-ups, drive change management, implement new financial systems and processes
College/ University degree in finance, accounting or business administration.
5 years overall work experience, minimum 2 years track record with Genpact
Previous financial analyst role
US GAAP knowledge is advantage
GB certified is preferred
