What are we looking for?
We are looking for an GL Senior Analyst within Genpact. This Job will require coordinating also 2 junior GL analysts.
What will your job be about?
• Monthly and yearly closing activities, as per customer calendar
• Review and submission of trial balances
• Preparation of quarterly reporting packages as per USGAAP requirements
• Statutory related activities such as preparation of VAT declarations, Intrastat and Extrastat reporting, EC Sales
• SOX and internal control compliance
• Analysis and booking of journal entries, responsible for reclassification and corrective journal entries
• Accrual, provision calculation & recording in ERP System
• Payroll related activities
• Provide support for audit purposes ( internal & external) – process walkthroughs, supporting documentation
• GL master data maintenance
• Inter-company accounting
• Accounts reconciliation, especially balance sheet accounts;
• Coordinate team of 1-2 junior accountants ( performance review, resource planning, career development & team motivation)
• Process improvement initiatives, best practice sharing
• Interaction with other departments to facilitate GL process including fixed assets
• 3+ years of experience in a multinational company as Financial Reporting Analyst
• Relevant domain experience
• Previous experience in a BPO/Call Center/Shared Services environment (represents and advantage)
• Good command of English
• Knowledge of SAP BW is not required, but a plus
• Strong customer centric focus, relationship management with key stakeholders, proactive and can do attitude
• Ability to understand, communicate and actively support changes in the work environment
• Ability to communicate effectively in diverse teams, both within the organization and with customer
