Web Designer Job Duties:
- Plans site design by clarifying goals, designing functionality, drawing up detailed website specifications.
- Develops site navigation by categorizing content.
- Develops graphic content; designing images, icons, banners etc.
- Is responsible for creating design solutions that have a high visual impact, designing sample page layouts, including text, size and colors.
- Is liaising regularly with the clients to identify their needs.
- Effectively communicate and coordinate with the team to ensure that the visual design communicates the desired message, and functions successfully.
Specific Skills (It is A MUST):
- Experience, perfect knowledge, accuracy and dexterity in one of the following applications: Adobe Photoshop OR Adobe Illustrator OR Corel Draw.
- Artistic creativity, applicable to business web design, and good knowledge of the latest visual trends in web design (minimalistic, flat, metro, card-based, one-scroll etc.).
- Knowledge of UX/UI Design, usability, layout and color theory, typography.
- Proactive and taking initiative in terms of graphics, brainstorming, research, and suggesting graphical and ergonomic trends.
- Good working ethic, planning abilities, commitment to deadlines, good learner of new skills.
- Ability to interact with all levels of people (contractors, clients, executives).
- Some portfolio showing your sense of artistry and polished execution.
- Good English skills.

- any other Adobe Creative Suite application
- Wordpress and/or any other CMS platform
- CSS / HTML / PHP
- SEO knowledge
- experience working with Agile web development projects and daily scrum
- competent or willing to learn some wireframing/prototyping/WYSIWYG applications
- marketing/PR/advertising/copywriting/journalism knowledge and/or experience
- some experience in working with clients, sales, customer relations etc.
