In Powertrain management system and calibration Division, the HIL Specialist will be responsible with the management of HIL (Hardware In the Loop) simulator & tools for embedded powertrain management systems development projects.
You will :
• Develop and validate real time HIL (Hardware In the Loop) environments, starting from a powertrain (engine and transmission) system definition, clarify and adjust the requirements with the customer.
• Use the HIL simulator to perform manual and automatic test procedures on the powertrain control system
• Deliver the test results and configure HIL environment to the customer within schedule, and complying with quality requirements
• Carry out trainings and presentations for HIL users
• Report the HIL & tools project status, progress and quality to the Management and synchronize with other HIL Project Managers in France.
Basic Requirements:
• Degree in Automotive Engineering, Electro-Mechanical, Control or Computer Engineering
• 1-3 years of experience in Hardware In the Loop simulator development or usage (automotive preferred)
• Experience in working in a cross-functional team environment
• Experience in international and multi-cultural organisation
• Domestic and/or international travelling: 10%
• Proficiency in English.
• French is a plus
Needed Knowledge:
• Advance usage of Matlab, Simulink
• Ability of modelling physical systems
• Knowledge of internal combustion engines or gearboxes
• Computer programming skills
• Knowledge of test environment, tools it's a plus
• Knowledge in the area of embedded software development for real-time systems is a plus
• Basic knowledge of sensors and electrical actuators desirable
