• Managing the Business Clients credit activity according to credit policies and procedures and ensuring the maintaining of sound standards of lending, monitoring and control of the credit risk and the appropriate evaluation of new business opportunities
• Applying of granting policies, processes and instruments (scoring) defined by the credit manuals, norms and procedures issued based on the Group standards with the participation of the Bank;
• Approving / rejecting / submitting for credit decision to upper authority level the incoming BC credit applications;
• Controlling over the performance and efficiency of the credit process, identifying major risks in the transaction proposed and structuring it accordingly;
• Keeping a constant trade off between sales maximization and risk assessment & monitoring
• Participating in elaborating the credit procedures for the conduct of business together with other departments and supporting their implementation
• Cooperating with SMEs (BC) Sales representatives in the HQ as well as at branches level in order to identify the risk factors regarding the credit facilities, the mitigation elements and to adequately structure the credit applications
• Participating on the training of the staff involved in the BC lending activity
• All responsibilities of the position holder are completed by internal working procedures & regulations. The job holder is responsible to know and be updated with procedures in force
• University degree in Business (MBA – would be an advantage)
• Min 5 years banking experience in lending activity
• Basic accounting skills
• Good experienced in BC lending activity
• Sound expertise in retail credit applications assessment
• Outstanding understanding of the market
• Very well balanced between sales, risks and related costs
• Creative and proactive
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to operate in highly sensitive environment
