Job Description
Endava is expanding into Bucharest, establishing a new delivery unit in Romania’s capital to complement its existing set of three delivery units across Romania and Moldova. To establish the new delivery unit a critical role must be filled – that of Head of Development in Bucharest.
As Head of Development you will be:
• Responsible for our development capability, including quality and performance, for the Bucharest Delivery Unit;
• Responsible for ensuring TEAM model is used and contributed to by developers in BHD;
• Responsible for line management of senior development resources within BHD;
• Responsible for participating in Group discipline activities and contributing to Endava’s development capability overall;
• Responsible for growing a strong development community within BHD.
• Significant commercial experience in either .NET or Java development, and awareness of the other;
• Experience in enterprise development, including integration, service orientation, BI, web and desktop development;
• Experience using formal development methodologies, including Agile Scrum and RUP, and the full application development lifecycle;
• Experience with XP concepts, including continuous integration, unit testing and automated code quality reporting;
• Ability to evangelise technology, techniques and development best practice internally;
• Experience mentoring and leading large teams of developers;
• Excellent communication skills and advanced level of English.
