Establishes operational objectives and work plans, and delegates assignments to individual contributors or subordinate managers. Senior management reviews objectives to determine success of operation. Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect
Tasks
• Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
• Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Establishes and assures adherence to budget, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements
• Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
• Manages activates of a department(s) through individual contributors or subordinate mangers.
• Subordinate managers exercise full supervision in terms of costs, methods and staffing.
• Directs and/or manages the organization’s budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis and reporting functions
• Reviews and approves recommendations for financial planning and control, and presents relevant information to executive management
• Monitors division, department or business unit’s adherence to approved budgets
• Develops, modifies and implements financial systems, financial operational specifications and controls, and policies and procedures
• Manages the preparation and distribution of periodic financial statements for internal and external users
• Ensures reports and disclosures comply with applicable governmental regulations, professional standards and organizational policies
• All other duties as assigned.
• Qualified accountant
• Experienced in FP&A (Finance, Planning, Analysis)
• Experienced in internal controls / (Preferred: Sarbox experience)
• Experience with multi-unit FP&A ERM consolidation and system reporting
• Experience in Essbase system reporting
• Excellent English language skills (written and spoken)
• People-management experience
