Identification, evaluation, development and implementation of new suppliers from Romania and other countries from CEE (Central Eastern Europe) in the Power Generation procurement processes in order to achieve maximum contribution to the operating result.
- Lead of a Global Sourcing Office Bucharest Romania;
- Coordination of all team activities within E OSPR;
- Clarification sourcing relevant demands (material properties, fabrication standards and quality, volumes, delivery time) with PMs;
- Screening relevant markets and suppliers, for relevant information and long-lists;
- Contact, checks and evaluation of new suppliers in close cooperation with the PMs;
- Coordination and performing of communication, meetings, business trips and document transfer between suppliers and PM-teams;
- Evaluation of relevant technical and commercial capabilities, production and supply processes in order to determine supply and quality risks;
- Concepts for risk and contract management to avoid risk and warranty costs;
- Coordination and support price and contract negotiations with contract conclusion to guarantee security of supplies at the best conditions;
- Cooperating for implementation of proper sourcing process to deliver optimum impact of cost-cutting and to meet requirements related to deadlines and quality;
- Reporting of Global Sourcing activities defined information and figures to make results transparent and know to the business units. Define and follow up KPI (key performance indicators);
- Intensive, regular contact with internal/external interface partners to recognize developments (in market, demand etc)and extern influence accordingly;
- Monitoring of the national and international market to bring new suppliers, product derivates and product innovations into the purchasing portfolio.
- Technical background in Mechanical engineering;
- Commercial background;
- English - advanced;
- German - optional;
- Knowledge or experience in the Power Generation industry (welding and machining processes, manufaturing of large steel constructions, castings or forgings);
- Control system knowledge or experience in procurement;
- Cross functional tasks;
- Project management knowledge;
- Computer literate including MS Office, Project, Access knowledge preferred;
- Communication and network skills;
- Situational sensitivity;
- Result oriented;
- Negotiation skills.
