Ensure the correct establishment of accounting policies and treatment, in compliance with applicable accounting rules requirements (i.e. IFRS);
Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of accounting treatment of the operations and correspondent accounting schemas;
Coordinates the realisation of the testing activities before implementing new products or operations within the IT systems;
Ensure that testing activities are done in due time and that these are properly documented;
Works with CBS or other IT providers, establishing clear processes for performing the accounting registration and IT project management function in the projects where they are involved;
Works with business area teams to understand business requirements/processes that should be implemented in CBS;
Responsible to understand the bank’s business from operational perspective and ensure that the CBS requirements are fully met;
Manages the projects portfolio within the department and unsure the timely fulfillment.
Academic background: degree in economics;
At least 10 years of experience in the accounting/finance field;
At least 5 years of experience in banking, back office or accounting function;
Very good knowledge of banking accounting practice (i.e. back office area for lending products, treasury products, customer’s operations, deposits);
Very good knowledge of IFRS;
Very good English knowledge (both written and spoken);
MS Office proficiency (Excel, Access);
Efficient, self-confident person;
Able to focus under pressure and meet strict deadlines;
Constructive thinker, communicative, reliable with a high sense of responsibility and integrity;
Hard worker, self-determined;
Proactive attitude, result and efficiency oriented;
Very good level of managerial skills;
