Provides 2nd level IT Support
Be a point of escalation for tickets from 1stLevel support team
Ensures that correct resolutions are found and involves appropriate areas in resolving problems when needed
Develops and maintains product knowledge, business and professional skills by participating in on-the-job and other training courses
Actively participates in preventive maintenance, by documenting common problems and scripts for customer support in the service desk knowledge base
Shares information required for the team to be successful
Provides feedback and training to 1stLevel agents on tickets escalated that could have been resolved at 1stlevel
Provides training to 1stlevel Agents on new process and technologies
Knowledge of ITIL an advantage
Strong customer service attitude
Flexible for shift working. Shift pattern in place covering 6:00am to 7:00pm Monday-Friday and on call at weekend.
Excellent customer service skills- both oral and written.
Technical expertise in the following:
Windows Operating Systems, (Windows XP, Windows 7)
Microsoft Office (Office 2007/10),
Print Services
PC HW maintenance
A/V & encryption
SCCM,
Active Directory
Citrix
backup & restore
Outlook 2007/10,
network troubleshooting,
Fluent in English and German/French
3-5 years Personal Computer experience including customer support or Help Desk
