• To define and document Information Security policies, standards and guidelines within the context of the global Information Security Policy, Group defined IT standards and compliance framework;
• To implement information security policies and procedures for the organization;
• To coordinate with all organizational entities, on all issues of IT security compliance, preparation and enforcing IT security policies;
• To monitor compliance with information security policies and procedures, referring problems to the appropriate department manager;
• To identify security risks, threats and vulnerabilities of networks, systems, applications and new technology initiatives.
• To oversee user access process to ensure operational integrity of the system;
• To perform complex product evaluations, recommends and implements products/services for network security;
• To initiate, facilitate and promote activities to create information security awareness within the organization;
• To perform security quality assurance/quality control activities, monitor compliance, and perform risk and vulnerability assessments of the organizational information systems;
• University Degree: Engineering or Computer Science is preferred;
• 3 years experience in Information Security with additional strong background with Unix, Windows , network technologies;
• CISSP, CISM or equivalent certification preferred;
• Relevant audit, security or quality assurance certificate is a plus;
• Excellent knowledge of IT security standards;
• Fluent knowledge of English language;
• Capability to evaluate business risk and to enforce appropriate information security measures;
• Strong knowledge of firewall technology, secure remote access systems, public key infrastructures (PKI), digital certificates, encryption, log retention, event management and compliance monitoring systems;
• Strong knowledge of secure web development practices, wireless security, network security, application security, data protection and infrastructure security in a heterogeneous IT environment that includes mainframe, mid range and desktop systems;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written);
• Strong presentation skills to wide audience;
• Solid organization, problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure and set right priorities to deliver results on time;
• Attention to detail, time management, and commitment to quality and solution oriented service;
• Integrity and Trust.
