Adecco Permanent Placement is looking for its client, an important engineering company in energy field, an International Sales Manager.

General description:
The candidate should have experience in selling power transformers and rotating machines, and should have the ability to develop and close new business and target client base. This person will be responsible for sales and new business development inside and outside Romania. This is a position reporting directly to the CEO of this company which is located in Craiova –Romania.
In addition, candidates need to have a strong knowledge of potential teaming partners and be able to direct proposal activities necessary in the pursuit of new business.
Principal duties:
 Provide supervision to Project and Corporate marketing Managers on assigned markets and propose pursuits within the Industrial & Infrastructure market segment within a defined budget.
 Develop annual profit plan for the market segment including earned sales and gross margin for current and anticipated projects, backlog, sales and bid/proposal resource requirements.
 Actively and prominently collaborate and lead in proposal preparation, estimating, planning and pricing.
 Participate in risk analysis/management and contract negotiations with customer.
 Support company continuous improvement efforts and activities.
 Oversee all client relationships; develop plans for new strategic market objectives and oversee implementation plans and activities.
 Provide/communicate ongoing business development related information to the Division management and all other interested parties.
 Identify market potential, develop and implements sales and marketing strategy. Analyze sales statistics, estimate volume and profit potential and develop realistic forecasts and projections.
 Maintain relationship with key customers and vendors by making periodic visits, identifying and exploring needs, and responding to concerns in a timely manner.
 Organize, prepare and lead company qualification presentations and all programs required for client development.
 Proactively monitor and maintain positive and effective customer relations.
 Negotiate/secure timely customer approval for project scope changes and contract modifications.

 Excellent written and oral skills;
 Excellent presentation and negotiating skills ;
 Excellent written, spoken and understanding of English language;
 Ability to demonstrate products on-site with the assistance of applications engineers, as required.
 Ability to present products, technologies and test methodologies to technicians, engineers, supervisors, managers and executives via telephone, email, visits, exhibits or webinars;
 Reputable business & work ethics and personal character;
 Knowledge and understanding of the organization and business processes employed by electric power companies, government agencies, manufacturers and industrial consumers;
 Knowledge of power generation, transmission and distribution systems and the various apparatus used within these systems.
 Knowledge of testing methodologies and maintenance practices used to assure a continuous and reliable power system.
 Goal and team oriented – willingness to work collectively with others to achieve corporate, regional and personal goals.
 Ability to schedule and plan strategically or react quickly to a changing working sales environment.
 A solid working knowledge of MS Office – especially Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint.



Work Experience:

 At least 10-15 years of direct sales or sales partner management selling testing equipment, instrumentation or apparatus for the electric power industry.
 Participation in international, national, regional and local conferences, exhibits or seminars.
 Proven record of achieving targets for revenue and product sales.


Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or certification of completion of an electronic or electrical technical education is required. Master's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
