Adecco Permanent Placement is recruiting for one of its clients, a well-established IT Services company, a IT Business Solutions Consultant.
This role presents a great opportunity to provide management of a broad range of information technology initiatives, projects and programs including the creation and implementation of technology and business solutions.
Main responsibilities:
- Support the ITG team in the implementation of the company's internal IT strategy
- Manage the implementation of IT business systems and IT infrastructure projects in line with the IT strategy of the company
- Manage the internal or third party IT service providers (such as ITS or ISPs) as delegated by the ITG organisation
- Facilitate the delivery of IT services to the company business by ensuring the alignment of the technology requirements with the business needs
- Manage the execution of the Group IT budget categories as delegated by the ITG organisation
- Provide input in order to help shape and maintain the internal IT standards and policies covering security, data management, reasonable use of company resources, infrastructure and services
- Oversee a broad range of planning, scheduling, risk assessment and mitigation activities
- Provide effective steering and governance concerning the setup and delivery of IT services
- Instigate effective and appropriate responses in cases of escalated exceptions and/or stakeholder feedback
- At least 2 year experience on any role that involves management of IT business systems and projects;
- Excellent understanding of the applicable technology (computer architecture, servers and networking, mobile technologies etc.) in the industry;
- Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written;
- A clear understanding of the relationship between IT and Business;
- Project management concepts and practices;
- Ability to negotiate and influence effectively;
- Organized, analytical and methodical, structured approach to work, attention to details;
- Good interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in liaising with employees at all levels and across multiple business and technology units, and external parties;
Desirable skills:
- Relevant knowledge of the IT infrastructure, services set-up and delivery;
- Knowledge of ISO20000, ISO27001 or ISO9001;
- Experience of using project management tools;
