IT&C Infrastructure Technology Specialist
Job Description:
- Plan, design and implement server solutions and architectures in medium- to large-sized companies; - Design, elaborate and write technical documentation for the project; - Perform research into different technologies existing or emerging, not necessary related to classical IT&C topics (servers, storage, networks, etc.); - Direct interaction with end-customers and technology supplier; - Gain comprehensive knowledge of a solution/technology and provide the appropriate implementation solution and documentation; - Review, plan and evaluate the systems for company’s clients; - Design server systems and supporting software for company’s clients; - Perform hands-on support of client’s production systems including networking, security issues and backup policy; - Provide documentation, project tracking and management reporting.
Requirements:
- Experience in creation and implementation of technical projects from design phase to implementation phase; - Proficient in administration of Microsoft Windows networks (installing, configuration, operation); - Strong knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol stack; - Previous Linux experience (installation, configuration, tuning, hardening); - Experience in working with latest and most complex hardware equipment (ia32 and x64 multi-processing systems, SAN and fiber channel, high availability and redundancy systems); - Basic Database Administration skills (SQL Server database configuration, administration, optimization and daily monitoring); - Technical writing ability is a must; - Minimum 3 years experience in designing, implementing and managing complex IT&C solutions; - Previous working knowledge of any of the following products will be considered as advantages: Systems Management Server, Microsoft Operations Manager, ISA Server, Microsoft Exchange, Rights Management Services;Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server; - Background in developing software application is a plus. - Holding any of the following certifications will be considered a great advantage: MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) or MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), CCNA,CCDA, MCITP or any of the exams that compose each certification; - Will be considered a plus knowledge of: Linux – enterprise products (SUSE, RedHat), Linux (desktop products and personal use), Windows (server si desktop), PKI, Kerberos, LDAP, sNMP, VPN, Knowledge of databases (MySql, Oracle si SQL) - Good spoken, written English knowledge is a must.
