- Analyses and defines requirements for internal developments;
- Creates the analysis documentation; propose and models the database architecture used to support internal developments;
- Develops and maintains up to date all IT applications developed within the department such as: claim & underwriting tool, external modules developed for SIS and IDS applications and also futures developments according to the requirements described in the specifications for projects developed in the company;
- Develops and maintains up to date various reports required by departments;
- Creates test cases and participates in the test phase for new modules and functionalities developed internally;
- Creates and keeps up to date the technical documentation for the new applications developed;
- Creates and keeps up to date the user guides of the developed applications;
- Proposes improvements to correct, prevent and optimize activities related to application development
Professional experience:
- Two or more years of relevant experience in bancassurance/ insurance/ banking/ financial services in relevant positions as analyst programmer, software developer;
- Experienced in database modeling with Oracle and MS SQL;
Candidate profile:
- Master degree in computer science, computer information systems or a related field
- Very good knowledge of SQL and VBA environments;
- Very good knowledge of programming in PL/ SQL language
- Knowledge of Java language
- Knowledge in DBMS administration of Oracle or MS SQL 2005, MS Access
- Advanced knowledge of client / server and n-tier architectures;
- Advanced level of english knowledge
- Experienced in understanding and interpreting the business processes in formalized chart flows using MS Visio;
- Ability to interact and collaborate with members of cross-functional teams;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical publications and documentation
- Attention to details and quality oriented
