Responsibilities:
1. Analyze business requirements and extract their impact on company’s Integration layer;
2. Translate business requirements into technical requirements for Integration layer;
3. Communicate and agree technical solutions on Integration layer side with all departments involved;
4. Evaluate reported changes in company’s systems and extract their impact on company’s Integration layer;
5. Analyze technical requirements and existing environment in order to find out the proper solution for implementation / customization / integrating the specific systems according respecting defined system’s architecture;
6. Propose workarounds and solutions for reported systems issues in order to ensure established system’s KPIs (availability and performance);
7. Create the documentation for change and revise the documentation for developed software;
8. Follow up for information/deliverables needed to solve assigned tasks;
9. Share technical knowledge/best practices/standards and procedures among the team members;
10. Provide estimation upon implementation effort to hierarchical supervisor/beneficiary;
11. Inform management level upon status of tasks assigned, periodically/at request.
Requirements:
• A technical or scietific degree/diploma (Computer Science, Software Engineer);
• 1-2 years of Java programming using J2EE, EJB, JavaScript, Java Beans, also good experience in XML, SQL;
• Experience of working with UML diagrams, Microsoft Visio;
• Knowledge of object oriented programming, algorithms and software architecture;
• Knowledge of databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL);
• Knowledge of at leasta one Java development tool (Eclipse, JBuilder);
• Knowledge of Web Servers and Applications Servers: Apache, Bea Weblogic, JBoss; experience of work with Weblogic is an advantage;
• Familiar with middleware paradigms like CORBA, SOAP, RMI;
• Familiar with concurrent versions systems like CVS;
• Familiar with Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows 98/2000/XP/NT/2003, Linux /UNIX;
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
