- knowledge of commonly used libraries like Spring
- excellent object oriented analysis and design skills

- strong expertise in SQL
- expertise with tools like SVN, Jira, Ant, Maven, Eclipse
- excellent communication and documentation skills
- very good written and verbal English skills
