The Financial Controller collects, estimates, analyzes and interprets the financial result and operational KPIs of the company, participates in budget preparation and forecasting and provides management of the company with necessary financial and operational information in order to assist in their everyday decision making process.
• Budgeting
- Is responsible for budget planning process
- Supports departments in budgeting process
- Collects and consolidates data from head of departments
- Consolidates budget on cost center basis
• Reporting
- Retrieves information from accounting system, checks its plausibility and correct allocation to cost centers
- Preparation of monthly and year-end reports in accordance with HAVI reporting principles and standards (reporting of income and costs according to company’s cost centers, making necessary accruals and reserves)
- Preparation of monthly and weekly financial and operational KPIs, gathering, consolidation and analysis of data
• Controlling and Forecasting
- Prepares variance analysis on cost center basis
- Performs regular control of the budget
- Supports responsible management in controlling of budget.
- Prepares forecasts (minimum 2 per year), gathers, analyzes and provides data
- Participates in Mark Up revision, if such is necessary
• Business Cases & Investments
- Prepares business cases for investments and efficiency of new business (opening new distribution centers/ new truck/ new customer)
• Internal Controls
- Periodically maintains the Internal Controls files
- Proactively communicates to Management the status of the Internal Controls;
- Informs and trains the interested colleagues in terms of Internal controls requirements;
- Bachelor degree in economics / finance / management accounting
- 1-2 years work experience in controlling
- MS Office Knowledge IT Knowledge Microsoft Office – Excel, ERP system
- English – advanced
- Good communication skills
