If you are a talented recent graduate of an architectural university or a junior architect with 1 - 3 years of experience, these is your invitation to a career less than ordinary! You will work with a team that has won numerous awards including the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada Innovation Award, the Brilliant Building Award and the Governor General’s Award.
In your capacity as a Junior Architect, you will:
• Model and draft in BIM software;
• Have input in design workshops and charrettes;
• Render and create project and office presentations;
• Collaborate with project architects abroad;
• Have fun!
Skills / Qualifications / Requirement:
• Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited institution;
• 1-3 years of experience on architecture projects;
• Understanding of BIM software (ArchiCad or Revit) - is a plus as well as PhotoShop and InDesign;
• Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and building codes;
• Strong graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas;
• Experience in all phases of the design process from project planning and concepts through working drawings and construction administration is a plus;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational abilities and technical skills;
• Enjoy learning and adapting to change;
• Strong ability to problem solve as a part of a project team;
• Knowledge of „architectural language” (advenced English).
