Adecco Permanent Placement is looking for its client, a multinational company, for a Junior Credit Controller, for Bucharest.
JUNIOR CREDIT CONTROLLER
Job Profile
• Achieving monthly and yearly strict collection targets
• Following and successfully completing all mandatory trainings assigned during calendar year
• Reviewing existing processes, identifying weaknesses and providing improvement ideas
• Contributing to the completion of new policies and standard documentation
• Working towards goals and behaviours assigned in HPD
1. Collection activities:
• Daily follow up on overdue debts by telephone and email
• Managing and controlling the Accounts Receivable according to the debt collection procedure
• Processing and generating reminder emails and account statements
• Investigating and resolving queries related to unpaid invoices
• Creating and assigning disputes in SAP, liaising with the sales and admin teams to resolve outstanding queries
• Processing refunds, write offs when necessary
• Assisting the Cashapps team with allocation information when required
2. Credit management activities:
• Ensuring that credit limits are not exceeded outside the discretionary limit
• Identifying high risk accounts and taking appropriate actions
• Management of blocked orders: release, reporting and communication towards business and customers alike
• Working with the Customer Master team on monitoring external financial data affecting our customers
• Customer checks and credit approval
• Highlighting to management changes on credit facilities and trading conditions
• Conducting business in a manner that promotes both internal and external customer satisfaction
3. Reporting activities:
• Daily and month end AR reporting and account reconciliations
• Assisting the Team Leader or Management with ad hoc reporting
• 1-2 years Credit Control experience or similar roles
• ERP knowledge (SAP, ORACLE, etc)
• Business acumen, project skills
• Strong communication skills
• Flexible and able to manage changes
• Open minded and proactive approach
• Motivated and dedicated; ability to work in a multicultural environment
• French Advanced
• English Advanced
