Responsibilities:
• Assist the Product Manager and Category Manager, within the buying process for the Toys Division;
• Select and develop profitable new ranges;
• Research and identify potential suppliers, offer support in defining the commercial clauses for the suppliers;
• Assist the negotiating the acquisition prices and extra budgets and specific actions
• Implementing the campaigns at an operational level;
• Able to deliver relevant reports and cut through the information / detail in order to get to the real issue;
• Keeping abreast of market trends and competitor activity, to help identify new opportunities as well as changes to our existing offering.
• Good depth of experience within a retail buying role;
• Able to work with cross functional teams;
• Net understanding of business (i.e. buying and stock);
• Strong presentation and communication skills;
• Ambition and proactivity
• Excellent numerical capability;
• Experience of using Microsoft Excel;
