What is the aim of qualitative research? To understand the attitudes, perceptions, habits, motivations of the target group on specific aspects of daily life, categories of products and services, brands, communications, etc. , through organized individual or group discussions led by trained moderators.
As a Junior Qualitative Research Consultant, you would:
- Undertake intensive hands-on training in Qualitative Research, mostly by assisting senior colleagues in different research projects
Ultimately you will take on the full responsibilities of qualitative research at Mercury Research, which would be:
- Client Service: preparing research proposals, communicating with the client, counseling him on the research, designing the research methodology;
- Project Administration: supervising the development of all stages of a qualitative project and assuring the project objectives are reached;
- Moderation: conducting Focus-Groups, In-Depth Interviews, Ethnographic research;
- Reporting: developing reports with the analysis of the information gathered, presenting the results to the client

The successful candidate does not need to have experience in the field, however any experience in qualitative research, therapy, training or marketing-related fields is a plus.
Our ideal candidate would:
- have excellent English language skills (reading, writing, spoken);

- lots of enthusiasm;
- good analytical thinking coupled with a creative mind;
- have a background in Psychology, Sociology or Social Sciences. We do not mind if you have a different background if you can convince us qualitative research is for you;
- have good Computer skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
