Our client, an innovative on-line application development company is searching for a new person to join their Development Hub in Romania, Bucharest on the position of
JUNIOR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR where you will have the following duties:
Perform initial setup, software installation, testing, and security hardening of computer server systems;
Maintain software, including testing, evaluation and installation of new versions;
Troubleshoot hardware/software problems and system failures;
Determine and initiate appropriate and immediate actions needed to restore normal services with minimal down time;
Design, code and install modifications to tuning parameters to optimize systems or software;
Perform long-range and capacity planning studies to determine the type of resources needed to support expected volume, types of application systems and operating assurance
Requirements
The successful candidate should have the following attributes:
University/Master Degree in Computer Science or related field;
1 year experience in a similar position;
Experience in working within Microsoft environments;
General networking knowledge;
Basic knowledge of SQL scripting, monitoring tools;
good communication skills, innovation and team spirit.
